What Jesus Came to do

Proclaim Good News

• Poor are not exclusively economically
• His message: no one is overlooked

Proclaim Liberty

• Captives are held against their will
• Good News: debt is paid

Grant Sight

• Light in darkness
• Not just light but sight

Proclaim Freedom

• External to existence, a force keeping you in place and under its power and exploiting you
• Not defined by or bound to patterns (of thinking or acting)

Proclaim Favor

• God's motivating factor is His good, delightful love for us
• Effected in the cross - demonstrated by the cross

Two Responses

• Rejection - sometimes it's Him, sometimes it's you
• Receive - forgiveness, freedom, family, forever
