What we behold is what we become.

Trouble is Everywhere

• Ahab - the leader who left instead of led (1 Kings 18:17-19)
• People - indecisive on Lordship (1 Kings 18:20-21)
• The trouble lacked a solution (1 Kings 18:22-29)

We behold the God who is the Lord and become people whose sole allegiance is wholly to Him

1 Kings 18:30-39

Lordship

• Worthy of our worship (1 Kings 18:30-33)
• Provider (1 Kings 18:33-35)
• Animator of faith (1 Kings 18:33-35)
• Powerful (1 Kings 18:36-38)

Allegiance

• When they saw the Lordship of God, their allegiance shifted
• Not only because of fear but also because of goodness
