Matt 28:1-6
God is faithful to His Word
- Previous promises become current realities
- A majori ad minus - from greater to lesser (Rom 8:32): If he has been faithful in the most costly and most difficult, we can trust Him to be faithful in everything else too
Matt 28:7-8
God is able to handle our real lives
- Fear: God does not care or He is not capable
- Joy: God desires and provides for our joy
- He is aware, engaged, and unafraid

God is relational at His core
Two defining attributes of this relationship:
- He is Lord - He has authority and sovereignty
- He is worth - He is worth our allegiance and action
Matt 28:10
God is redemptive in His purpose
- Redemption transforms the nature of the relationship
- Redemption transforms the people who enter relationship with Him
