Think

• Think and reflect on these things
• Transformation is the goal (Rom 12:1-2)
• Reaction to culture is typically dismissal or demonizing - not discernment

These Things

• Invitation to enjoy the world God has made
  • Glory in the gifts but glorify the Giver of those gifts
• True
• Honorable - respectable and serious
• Just - that which is right and genuinely good
• Pure - innocent in thought and action
• Lovely - pleasant and appealing
• Commendable - admirable and desirable
• Excellent - virtuous goodness
• Praiseworthy - praising what we prize

Practice

To become like someone, it makes sense to do what they actually do and actively engage in their thoughts, habits, and outlook.
