Down Payment

Ephesians 2:14

• The Holy Spirit is God
  • Something that is less than God cannot be the guarantee of God, for the plan of God, to fufill the desire of God
• More is coming
  • What is partial now is promised in fullness later and pledge by the Spirit today

Cultivating Awareness

• Do not grieve the Spirit (Eph 4:30-32)
  • We do this when the "other stuff" takes over and we fail or refuse to see the Spirit's work in their lives
• Be strengthened by the Spirit (Eph 3:16-19)
  • Experiential and interactive knowledge of His love by giving Him our attention
• Pausing for prayer
  • Stopping 3x per day to give Him attention
  • Listening to Him speak through His Word
• Pausing for prayer
