Gifts to the Church

Eph 4:11-12

• Spiritual leaders are given to the church to shape her into Jesus' image
• Purpose of those leaders is to equip the saints

Goal of the Church

Eph 4:12-14

• Not bigger gatherings but better followers (Eph 4:13)
• Followers of Jesus who are deployed for ministry (Eph 4:12)
• Followers of Jesus who are steadied by the truth (Eph 4:14)

Necessity of the Church

Eph 4:15-16

• We need one another to mature in Jesus (Eph 4:15)
• We need one another to thrive and flourish (Eph 4:16)
