Who is my neighbor?
Answer: anyone I choose to make a neighbor, because neighbor is a verb.
Stop and see others

- Don't be so religious that you miss the person (they are not a problem to be solved)
Compassion is required
Luke 10:33
- When your gut gets stirred (Greek splangna)
- Contention 1: I just don't love that person
- Contention 2: I tried and got burned
- Contention 3: I have compassion fatigue
Sacrifice is required
Luke 10:34-35
- Personal involvement
- Personal investment
- Personal resources
- Personal resolve
How do we neighbor?
- How many geographic neighbors can you name? How many ball-team parents?
- Where do your normal rhythms need attention? Who in them needs your compassion?
- Where does your world need your sacrificial love?
