People

• Shift in allegiance (see 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10)
• New person and new people
  • Experience forgiveness
  • Experience freedom

1 Corinthians 12:3

Confession

• Holy Spirit reveals this
• "Jesus is Lord"
  • Our "yes" is on the table
  • Our lives are in alignment

1 Corinthians 12:4-7

Mission

• Correct doctrine propels us (always!!!) into mission
• Gospel and good works
  • Everyone rows - church is not a spectator sport

• Not our own abilities
