John 14:1-4

Jesus promises a future - so you belong

• Plenty of room
• Father's house
• Jesus will take us there

John 14:5-6

Jesus promises access - so you are secure

• You may not understand the destination but you do know the Way
• Both exclusive and inclusive

John 14:7-11

Jesus promises relationship - so you have a family

• Knowing and seeing Jesus is knowing and seeing the Father
• They are united in ways we don't understand
• Implications:
  • You don't have to be confused about who God is
  • You don't get to define God or have a preference on His character

John 14:12

Jesus has promised power - so you have a purpose

• Works that Jesus does - all of them
• Greater works
  • Greater scale
  • Greater scope
  • Greater reach

John 14:13-14

Jesus promises answered prayer - so you are heard

• Prayers get answered in ways that God gets glory
• Nothing is too small or out of bounds
